Royal Enfield has released official teaser images of the much-anticipated Himalayan 750 and the electric Himalayan prototype, Him-E. Both motorcycles were seen undergoing high-altitude testing at Khardung La pass, offering a glimpse into the brand’s future lineup of mid-capacity and electric adventure bikes.
Himalayan 750

This is the first time Royal Enfield has shared images of the Himalayan 750 directly. The bike looks nearly production-ready, with several key features now confirmed. It gets a dual front disc brake setup, an upswept exhaust, and a tall windscreen. The half-fairing design houses an LED headlamp similar to that on other RE models, and the bike rides on 19/17-inch wire-spoke wheels. Also seen are trapezoidal mirrors and a TFT dash mounted in a rally-style tower layout, like on the Himalayan 450.
The engine is expected to be based on RE’s 650cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin motor, but likely in a higher state of tune. While official figures are not confirmed, output is expected to exceed the current 47 hp and 56.5 Nm from the Interceptor and Continental GT 650.
Him-E Electric Prototype

Alongside the Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield also teased the Him-E electric ADV, first showcased at EICMA 2023. Though still in the early stages of development, the prototype gets premium components like gold USD forks, knobby tyres, a single-petal front disc, and a radially mounted master cylinder. The Him-E is not confirmed for production yet and currently serves as a test bed for Royal Enfield’s future EV plans.

Both bikes were spotted with red temporary registration plates from Tamil Nadu and were seen tackling rough, high-altitude conditions. This confirms that the company is benchmarking its performance in real-world adventure environments. The brand captioned the teaser with: “Out with the team in the Himalayas doing what we love the most!” using hashtags like #RidePure and #PureMotorcycling without revealing official names.
Launch Timeline
While the Himalayan 750 seems close to launch, Royal Enfield has yet to confirm a timeline. The Him-E remains in the prototype stage and is unlikely to see production in the immediate future. However, both bikes highlight the brand’s ambition to expand in both premium and electric adventure touring segments.
