Standard features include three riding modes (Eco, Normal, Sport), dual-channel ABS, traction control, TPMS, side-stand cut-off, and Type-A and Type-C ports. The E-VO is priced at CNY 29,999 (approx. Rs 3.56 lakh) for the base model and CNY 36,999 (approx. Rs 4.39 lakh) for the higher-spec variant.
Could the Honda E-VO Work in India?

While the E-VO is currently exclusive to China, its potential in India shouldn't be overlooked. With the electric motorcycle segment gaining momentum, brands like Ola Electric, Ultraviolette, and Tork Motors are already shaping the premium EV space.
Model | Power Output | Claimed Range | Price (ex-showroom) |
---|---|---|---|
Honda E-VO | 15.8 kW | 120-170 km | Rs 3.56-4.39 lakh |
Ultraviolette F77 | 30.2 kW | 211-323 km | Rs 2.99-3.21 lakh |
Tork Kratos R | 9 kW | 180 km | Rs 1.87 lakh |
In India, the Honda E-VO could do well thanks to Honda’s trusted brand name and wide service network. It has smart features, a good ride experience, and fast-charging support using public AC chargers. The design is stylish, and the seat is low, which makes it easy to ride for many users.
However, the price may be too high for most Indian buyers, especially when compared to local options. Its range is also lower than rivals like the Ultraviolette F77, and it doesn’t support fast DC charging.
Overall, the E-VO is a premium and well-built electric motorcycle. If Honda brings a more affordable version to India with some local changes, it could compete strongly with upcoming electric bikes from Ola, Tork, and Ultraviolette in the Rs 3-4 lakh range.
